Royalty

Kayla Korte is a 15-year-old from Pueblo who brings energy, determination, and heart to everything she does. She owns three horses—Handyman, Dot, and Jasper—and enjoys both gymkhana events and over fences, where she loves the challenge and excitement.

Outside the arena, Kayla stays busy with cheer and gymnastics and enjoys doing nails in her free time. Her friends describe her as loyal, supportive, and upbeat—qualities that shine through in and out of the show ring.

Kayla is proud of her strong academics and entrepreneurial mindset, calling herself an “academic weapon.” She has ridden her whole life and competed for the past two years, continuing to grow her skills in jumping and speed.

She looks up to her mom and plans to pursue a career in the medical field, with interests in anesthesiology, sports medicine, or phlebotomy.

Kayla is strong, spirited, and driven, and is excited to represent horse show royalty with pride this year.
